Riffat is a highly skilled freelance make up and mehndi artist dedicated to making your wedding or event a day to remember forever.

For Riffat, HENNA and MAKE-UP have always been important parts of her life. Her talent with a Mehndi cone was always obvious from childhood.  She was invited to train with L.A’s Sumitra Bhatra (Madonna’s henna artist on her frozen video) and is a founder member of Mehndi Mela, set up to support henna artists in the U.K and Europe.

Riffat’s work has been in demand not only in the UK but across the world and her work has been published in magazines such as Asian Bride, Occasions and Viya. She prides herself in producing contemporary, creative and original make-up and henna designs. Riffat pioneered her own Indian bridal dressing but being versatile, has a cross culture client base including white weddings and festivals like Glastonbury.

Using 100% natural HENNA, specially prepared to give a fantastic colour, she works freehand to create beautiful, exotic temporary designs which last approximately 2 - 3 weeks. In MAKE UP Riffat is known for her understated contemporary glamour and polished image making. Keeping up to date with the latest trends by attending Mac master classes, Riffat is always guided by her subject’s features rather than imposing a uniform look. Her particular expertise is the exquisite bridal make-up and mehndi that you can view in the Makeup Gallery and she is also an experienced festival and event henna artist.

With so much knowledge and experience Riffat is now embarking on teaching others about Bridal make-up and Mehndi with her own comprehensive training courses which have already inspired many of the ‘next generation’.
